norse3 Lögberg
Every call checked. Nothing unheard.
Lögberg screens 100% of your recorded mortgage sales calls for FCA compliance risk, then puts the ones that matter in front of your own reviewers, with the evidence already attached.
100% of calls screened
Every recorded call, every week — not a 1–5% sample
Evidence on every flag
Each finding cites a verbatim, timestamped quote you can play
All processing in the UK
UK infrastructure with automatic redaction of sensitive data
Most of your calls have never been listened to
UK mortgage sales are advised sales. Every call carries regulatory obligations: disclose your fees and scope of service, explore the customer's needs and affordability, give a suitable recommendation, recognise and respond to vulnerability.
Manual call QA cannot keep up with that. Reviewing a call takes real human time, so most firms sample somewhere between 1% and 5% of their calls and hope the rest are fine. Under Consumer Duty, hope is not evidence. Boards are being asked to demonstrate good customer outcomes, and a thin random sample is a difficult thing to stand behind.
Lögberg removes the trade-off. Every call is screened. Your people review only the ones that need them.
How Lögberg works
Your calls come in.
Send recordings by file upload, a secure drop folder, or a direct connection to your phone system. All processing stays in the UK, and sensitive personal data is redacted automatically.
Every call is transcribed and understood.
Lögberg transcribes with speaker separation, so it knows which words are the adviser's and which are the customer's. Low-confidence audio segments are marked as uncertain rather than silently guessed.
Every call is screened against your rubric.
Out of the box, the rubric reflects MCOB and Consumer Duty requirements: scope of service disclosed, fees disclosed, affordability explored, customer needs and circumstances captured, recommendation properly reasoned, vulnerability check done, no pressure or guarantee language, clear next steps. Your compliance team can tailor it to your firm.
Risky calls reach your reviewers, with proof attached.
Each call is risk-ranked and filed into a review queue in the Heimdall console. Every finding cites a verbatim, timestamped quote from the transcript. One click and the audio plays from that exact moment, so a reviewer can confirm or dismiss a finding in seconds rather than re-listening to a whole call.
What your firm gets
Complete coverage
100% of calls screened, every week, not a sample. Instead of choosing which 1–5% of calls to review and hoping the rest are fine, every recorded conversation goes through exactly the same checks.
A focused QA team
Your reviewers stop sampling blindly and start working a queue sorted by risk, with the evidence pre-assembled. The same team covers many times the ground.
Consumer Duty MI your board can use
Outcomes data drawn from every call, ready for board packs and regulator conversations.
Per-adviser scorecards
See exactly which rubric items each adviser misses, with real examples to coach from. Feedback built on evidence rather than anecdote.
A breach register and one-click audit packs
When you need to prove what was said on a call, export a branded report with timestamped transcript citations instead of spending an afternoon with the audio.
Your judgement. Our coverage.
Lögberg is triage and evidence tooling, not automated compliance sign-off. It never certifies a call as compliant and never declares an adviser at fault. It prioritises, flags and evidences; your reviewers confirm or dismiss every finding.
Nothing rests on AI say-so. Every flag carries a quote you can hear for yourself, and accountability stays exactly where the FCA expects it: with your firm.
Built for recorded customer calls
Call recordings are personal data, and Lögberg treats them that way.
- All audio processing and transcription on UK infrastructure
- Automatic redaction of sensitive personal data in transcripts
- Separate, configurable retention controls for audio and transcripts
- Access governed by your own role-based permissions in the Heimdall console
- DPIA support as part of onboarding
A second product on a proven engine
Lögberg is not a prototype. It runs on the same detection engine that powers norse3's real-time compliance moderation for enterprise chat and support channels, screening live conversations for FCA-relevant conduct in production today. A mortgage adviser on a call is the same problem in a different channel, and the console your team uses, Heimdall, is the same multi-tenant compliance dashboard our clients already rely on for incident triage and FCA reporting.
The name comes from the Lögberg, the Law Rock of the old Icelandic assembly, where the law was spoken aloud and judgments proclaimed. We thought that suited a product whose whole job is checking spoken words against the rules.
See it against your own QA setup
In a 20-minute walkthrough, we'll map your current sampling rate and review process against what 100% coverage looks like for a firm your size, and show you the review queue, scorecards and audit packs working on real (anonymised) calls.
